Razor Clammers Return to Kalaloch

For the first time in about a year and a half we had a razor clam season on Kalaloch beaches this fall and early winter. What a treat for everyone who enjoys both the pursuit and the matchless taste of these unique bivalves. Most diggers limited fairly easily, though clam size was somewhat below average. Very large numbers of juvenile clams do promise excellent seasons ahead, however, and that's great news for all of us. Watch your local newspaper for possible spring openings. Digging should be excellent.
